It seems to be that not all Democrats are
the same. And it may just be that the American People, in their infinite
wisdom, have elected the most "wussified" so-and-so ever considered for the
U.S. Presidency-
And The Angels Wept...:
Bill Gertz is reporting at
Geostrategy-direct.com (subscription required), and as relayed by the folks
at Infidel Bloggers Alliance, that confidential sources have said that
Barack Obama had been sending "back door" truce feelers to al Qaeda prior to
his election as President in 2008.
Gertz notes that issues under
discussion may include a "truce" (hudna?) with al Qaeda in return
for leaving Hamid Karzai and Afghanistan to the tender mercies of al Qaeda
and the jihadis. He also describes a situation where al Qaeda may
have limited their terrorist activities in the possible hope that they can
gain at the negotiating table what they cannot gain on the battlefield.
If so, it would constitute the
biggest Liberal Democrat sell-out of the American people, (especially the
victims of 9-11) since the Venona Tapes revealed that the Kennedy's were
negotiating behind the scenes with the Soviet Union for certain "business
concessions". Said discussions may also result in a "legitimization" of the
Islamist/salafist/jihadi movement. This, in turn, may end
up destabilizing such long term American allies as Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, and
a number of Gulf States who are important sources of oil and investment
capital.
Words fail me over the possibilities
with this story. Many people's concerns over Obama's views on dealings with
the Islamist movement were evident during the campaign. Moreover, large
numbers of voters may have been less likely to vote for Obama had they known
about this newly revealed "cut and run" mentality, even for the situation in
Afghanistan.
But if it is true that Obama is
willing to sell out, in his infinite arrogance, an America which was
"suddenly and deliberately attacked" on 9-11, then he is unworthy of the
office of the Presidency. FDR he is not, and those who would help this
charlatan succeed in these most perfidious of policies should not remain in
the public's employ, nor enjoy our confidence in their status.
